Getting to and from JFK on AirTrain is fast and easy. You can travel to and from Manhattan’s Penn Station on the Long Island Rail Road in about 35 minutes and to and from most parts of New York City on the subway in about an hour.
If you’re arriving at JFK, there are three AirTrain JFK routes that stop at every terminal: the All Terminals Route, the Howard Beach Route and the Jamaica Station Route. These routes can connect you to other routes as well as connections to the Long Island Rail Road and New York City subways and buses.
If you’re departing from JFK, there are two convenient locations where you can connect to AirTrain JFK: Jamaica Station and Howard Beach Station. Both are served by numerous connections to Long Island Rail Road trains, New York City subways and local buses.
