Holiday Journeys Made Easier
Port Authority airports offer a variety of amenities and services to make air travel easier this holiday season.

International visitors arriving in the New York-New Jersey region for bargain shopping and sightseeing can find information in most languages on AirTrain services. AirTrain JFK and AirTrain Newark offer convenient, fast alternatives to driving. To print brochures in German, French, Italian, Spanish, Chinese and Japanese, visit the Port Authority Web site.

From Duty Free Americas to The Metropolitan Museum of Art Store, LaGuardia’s Central Terminal Building is home to extraordinary stores and eateries, many offering promotions in time for holiday gift-giving. Shop LaGuardia to print coupons and learn more about sales and specials.

Travelers at Kennedy International can charge their electronic devices by plugging into a “Power Pole,” an 8 ½-foot-tall stanchion wired with four outlets. Power Poles are available in every passenger terminal at JFK at no cost.

Sign Up for Airport Info-Alerts
It's a free subscription service from Kennedy, Newark Liberty and LaGuardia that notifies customers of important info, such as airport weather delays, parking lot capacity and service changes on AirTrain Newark and AirTrain JFK. Free alerts will be sent to your cellular phone, PDA, pager or email account. And you'll be able to select the days of the week and times of day you want to check on. Pay for Cab Fares with TaxiPass
A pilot program, TaxiPass, at Newark Liberty’s Terminal A, lets customers pay for taxi rides with a credit card between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m. every day. Taxi service is available to any destination and the service is easy to use: insert a credit card to purchase a TaxiPass voucher from a kiosk located by the Terminal A taxi stand. The driver redeems the voucher upon completion of the trip. This program is a joint venture between the City of Elizabeth Taxi Commission, TaxiPass, Gateway Security and the Port Authority.

Customer Care  
Use Only Authorized Ground Transportation
Airport customers are advised to always avoid drivers who approach and offer a ride. Information and bookings for authorized transportation services are easily available at Ground Transportation Counters, located on the Arrivals level. Customer Care Representatives are very knowledgeable about the variety of authorized companies and their rates. For metered taxis, customers can see the uniformed Taxi Dispatcher, located outside the Arrivals area. Information on authorized providers is also available on the Port Authority Web site or by calling 1-800-AIR-RIDE.
