Built, managed, and maintained by The Port Authority of NY & NJ, AirTrain JFK is the 8.1-mile light rail system that connects JFK to the New York City area's mass transit system. A project of historic significance, AirTrain enables thousands of air travelers and airport employees to travel to, from, and within the airport quickly and conveniently every day. It is part of the Port Authority's capital improvement plan, designed to deliver fast, convenient, and more comfortable travel experiences to all travelers who visit and use our facilities.
