Smoking, drinking, and/or eating is not permitted at any time on AirTrain.
Luggage & Baggage Carts While AirTrain can accommodate
standard luggage, we recommend that you check with NYC Transit or Long Island Rail Road (LIRR)
regarding their luggage policies. Airport baggage carts are permitted on AirTrain, but removal
of baggage carts from JFK or the AirTrain system is prohibited. Baggage carts are not allowed on
escalators.
ADA Compliant
All AirTrain stations are ADA compliant and accessible by elevator. There are also tactile
platform warning surfaces, raised letter and Braille signs, text telephones, and accessible restrooms.
Customers with Animals
Service animals and small domestic animals in secure carrying cases are permitted. No other
animals are allowed.
Customers with Bicycles

There are no time restrictions imposed on bicycles and no bicycle
permits are required. |

Bicycles on AirTrain cars must be kept clear from doors at all times. |

Bicyclists are limited to 4 per AirTrain car. Bicycle groups of
5 or more must notify AirTrain Operations for further instruction
on traveling with bicycles. Call 718-570-1048. |

AirTrain reserves the right to designate trains where bicycles will
be permitted. |

Bicycles will remain in the custody of the bicyclists, who will
be responsible for their safekeeping and will secure the bicycles
so that they do not pose a hazard to other customers. |

Bicyclists must move their bicycles, if necessary, to permit mobility
of other customers. |
7. |
The kickstand of the bicycle must remain up at all times. |
8. |
Bicycle riding on platforms, in station areas or while in a train
is prohibited. |
9. |
Bicycles are not permitted on escalators. |
10. |
Bicyclists will comply with instructions from AirTrain crew, agents,
customer service personnel, and/or police and fire department personnel. |
