Check below for weekly travel advisories at Port Authority facilities. It is important to note that the content below does not list alerts for current travel conditions. It only lists foreseen conditions that will impact traffic, such as construction and roadwork. This information is updated Friday evenings. It may also be updated throughout the week if there are changes to scheduled construction and/or roadwork that significantly impacts traffic.

TO NEW YORK (EASTBOUND)

ADVISORY 1

Date(s):

  • Friday, March 24, 11:59 p.m. until 8 a.m. Saturday morning
  • Thursday, March 30, 11 p.m. until 5 a.m. Friday morning

Closure(s):
The New York-bound south tube is closed.

Construction and Maintenance Projects Requiring Closure(s):
Maintenance includes, but not limited to cleaning, lighting, gutter cleaning and inspections.

TO NEW JERSEY (WESTBOUND)

ADVISORY 1

Date(s):

  • Sunday, March 26, 11 p.m. until 5 a.m. Monday morning
  • Monday, March 27, 11 p.m. until 5 a.m. Tuesday morning

Closure(s):
The New Jersey-bound north tube is closed. Customers advised to access the Lincoln Tunnel via the center tube using entrances at 36th Street and 9th Avenue, or 30th, 31st or 33rd streets between 9th and 10th avenues.

Maintenance includes, but not limited to cleaning, lighting, gutter cleaning and inspections.

BOTH DIRECTIONS (EASTBOUND & WESTBOUND)

ADVISORY 1

  • Tuesday, March 28, 11 p.m. until 5 a.m. Wednesday morning
  • Wednesday, March 29, 11 p.m. until 5 a.m. Thursday morning

Closure(s):
One tube of the Lincoln Tunnel is closed.

Construction and Maintenance Projects Requiring Closure(s):
Maintenance includes, but not limited to cleaning, lighting, gutter cleaning and inspections.
