George Washington Bridge (GWB)

Direction Dates Closures
TO NEW YORK (EASTBOUND) Monday – Thursday, February 8 – February 11, 11 p.m. until 5 a.m. the following morning Two of three eastbound upper level expressway lanes (under the apartments), from the New York tower to Saint Nicholas Avenue, will be closed. (Routine Maintenance)

 

Around-the-clock, until further notice

All Trucks must use the upper level of the George Washington Bridge. Violators subject to summons and/or fine.

GWB Sidewalk Hours of Operation

Bicyclists using the sidewalk are asked to walk their bikes for the safety of all sidewalk users. Bicyclists who choose to ride are asked to exercise caution and ride slowly. Pedestrians have the right-of-way at all times.

Users of the GWB sidewalk are encouraged to sign up for Bridge & Tunnel Alerts at http://btt.paalerts.com. Select the "Bicyclists/Pedestrian" Customer Type to have free alerts regarding sidewalk closures sent to your cell phone, BlackBerry, or e-mail account.

Lincoln Tunnel

Direction Dates Closures
BOTH DIRECTIONS (EASTBOUND & WESTBOUND) Saturday, February 6, 1 a.m. until 9 a.m.
Sunday, February 7, 2 a.m. until 10 a.m.
Tuesday – Thursday, February 9 – 11, 11 p.m. until 5 a.m. the following morning
One tube of the Lincoln Tunnel will be closed to traffic. Weeknights, two additional tunnel lanes in each direction will be closed at 12:30 a.m., traffic permitting, leaving one lane in each direction available. (Routine Maintenance)
TO NEW JERSEY (WESTBOUND) Sunday & Monday, February 7 & February 8, 11 p.m. until 5 a.m. the following morning The New Jersey–bound north tube will be closed to traffic. Customers are advised to access the Lincoln Tunnel via the center tube using entrances at 36th Street and 9th Avenue, or 30th, 31st or 33rd Streets between 9th and 10th Avenues. (Routine Maintenance)
TO NEW JERSEY (WESTBOUND) Sunday – Tuesday, February 7 – February 9, 10 p.m. until 4:30 a.m. the following morning
Wednesday, February 10, 11:59 p.m. until 4:30 a.m. Thursday morning
Thursday, February 11, 10 p.m. until 4:30 a.m. Friday morning
Two lanes of the outbound Lincoln Tunnel helix will be closed to traffic (Guardrail Repairs)

 

Holland Tunnel

TO NEW JERSEY (WESTBOUND) Sunday – Thursday, February 7 – February 11, 11 p.m., traffic permitting, until 5:30 a.m. the following morning One lane will be closed to traffic.(Routine Maintenance)

 

HOLLAND TUNNEL COMMERCIAL VEHICLE RESTRICTIONS

Commercial vehicles in classes 2 & 3 (two- & three-axle single unit trucks) are permitted to use the Holland Tunnel in both directions.

The ban on tractor-trailers and larger trucks in classes 4, 5 and 6 (four, five and six-axle trucks), three-axle dual-unit trucks, trailers, and towed vehicles remains in effect IN BOTH DIRECTIONS at all times. Operators of these vehicles are encouraged to use the Lincoln Tunnel and George Washington Bridge as alternatives.

Goethals Bridge Sidewalk Closure

The pedestrian sidewalk is closed around-the-clock, until further notice.

Day Closures
Saturday, February 6 Service will operate on a normal weekend schedule.

Notes

Ninth Street Station will be closed for cleaning from 11:59 p.m. Sunday until 5 a.m. Monday morning. Customers are advised to enter PATH via 14th Street or Christopher Street stations.

Riders are reminded that eating, drinking, and smoking are not permitted on PATH.

Newark Liberty Airport

Dates Notice
Ongoing New Arrivals Level
The Terminal B mid-level roadway (previously known as the arrivals level roadway) is now closed. All passenger pick ups, both international and domestic, are being made on the new arrivals level, located on the lower level of Terminal B. Taxi service is still available at the mid-level and is located at the lower level of the terminal.

AirTrain Newark

As part of the Terminal B Connector Expansion Project, AirTrain Newark service routes and hours have changed. On Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday nights, from 12:00 am - 5:00 a.m., and from 11:59 p.m. Saturday night until 7:00 a.m. Sunday mornings, there is no AirTrain service between Terminals A and C. However, AirTrain shuttle service continues to run from Terminal A to P2 and from Terminal C to Rail Link during these times. Buses supplement the AirTrain service during these hours. Customer Care Representatives are also available to direct all passengers to their destinations.
