Important Information for Cash Customers

  • Cash customers traveling overnight (11 p.m. - 6 a.m. Sundays - Thursdays, 11 p.m. - 7 a.m. Fridays & Saturdays) must use the upper level of the George Washington Bridge. The lower level and the Palisades Interstate Parkway approaches are restricted to E-ZPass customers only. Please plan accordingly. Click here for more information.
  • Use designated "Cash - E-ZPass" lanes.
  • Have toll payment ready and use exact fare whenever possible.
  • Avoid small change, pennies and wrapped money.
  • Only U.S. currency is accepted.
  • Toll collectors may accept bills of up to $100.
  • Receipts are issued only upon request.
  • Personal checks, travelers' checks, money orders and credit cards are not accepted.

As a courtesy to our toll collectors, while paying toll please:

  • Turn off windshield wipers.
  • Keep pets away from driver's-side windows.
