Program Structure

G-MAP is a multi-jurisdictional, multi-modal platform for involved agencies to collaborate in working with the freight industry and other regional stakeholders. The program establishes a broad agenda of discrete, achievable measures to support more efficient and sustainable goods movement, emphasizing operational and regulatory reforms as well as long-term capital investment needs. The initiative maximizes the impact of each agency's limited resources, building off their existing plans, projects and data to build consensus on projects and strategies that can improve freight efficiencies across jurisdictions. That agenda focuses on initiatives in six core areas: Supply-Chain Operations, Governance, Infrastructure, Funding and Finance, Land Use and Environment.
