PATH riders can save money on their commutation costs by taking advantage of their employer-sponsored tax-free transit benefits program.
Transit Benefits are available three ways:
Electronic Transit Benefits Transfer to SmartLink
With this efficient and time-saving option, employers have transit benefits automatically loaded onto to the SmartLink cards of their employees, in the form of trips or a 30-day unlimited pass.
Transit Benefits Debit Card
Accepted at PATH vending machines for the purchase of SmartLink trips and unlimited passes, as well as the pay-per-ride MetroCard, and PATH SingleRide Ticket. SmartLink card may be purchased with cash from in-station SmartLink vending dispensers at these locations.
Transit Benefits Paper Voucher
Accepted at these locations for the purchase of SmartLink Gray.
