celebrated the opening of the Newark Port Career
and Business Development Center (NPC&BDC).
The center, which will be open Monday-Friday,
8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., is located at 125 Tyler Street
Port Newark. The Port Authority of New York and
New Jersey worked with the City of Newark and
the Hudson Refrigerating Company to locate a
space for this important endeavor.
Through the NPC&BDC the City of Newark seeks
to create a stronger partnership with key port
community stakeholders. The NPC&BDC will work
to develop relationships with employers to identify
job opportunities and to create industry specific
