The Port Authority team made a
presentation at a monthly dinner meeting
of the Long Island Import Export Association
(LIIEA) in Melville, NY on April 10th. The
theme of the evening's presentations was
"Navigating the Waters-Ocean Container
Port Update." Representatives from New York
Shipping Association and Maher Terminals
also made presentations. East Coast
Warehouse & Distribution was a sponsor of
the event. LIIEA provides programs covering
a range of subjects focusing on key global
issues. The goal is to help manufacturers,
importers, exporters and business owners
expand their knowledge in the field of
international trade. Approximately 130 were
in attendance.
