New World Alliance, CMA CGM Boost Asia/U.S. East Coast Capacity

New World Alliance carriers APL, Hyundai Merchant Marine and MOL, together with service partner CMA CGM, have resumed weekly sailings on their joint Asia/U.S. East Coast service. The upgrade effectively doubles the service's capacity so that now eight vessels averaging 4,800 TEUs will call Ningbo, Shanghai, Chiwan, Hong Kong, Manzanillo and the Port of New York & New Jersey.

The New Jersey Marine Terminals would like to take a minute of your time to alert you to a new traffic pattern at Elizabeth-Port Authority Marine Terminal.

There is a new permanent traffic pattern in effect in that began on Monday, June 9, 2008.

There is no through traffic on Bay Avenue or Polaris Street. Bay Avenue has access for 201 Bay and ASA Apple.

Polaris Street has access for East Coast Warehouses and the Maher Chassis Pool.

To access the Maher Chassis Pool from Corbin Street southbound, continue on to Lyle King/McLester Streets, turn right on Bay Avenue, and proceed to the Chassis Pool.
