Trade Statistics for the Port of NY & NJ

In 2012, the Port of New York and New Jersey moved 5,529,908 million loaded and unloaded 20-foot equivalent units (TEUs). The number is an annual record for the port.

Additionally, ExpressRail, the Port Authority's on-dock rail system in New York and New Jersey, handled 433,481 cargo containers, an increase of 2.4 percent over 2012.
