The Port Authority executive responsible for improving opportunities for minority and women-owned businesses has received the prestigious Luther Gulick Outstanding Public Administrator Award from the American Society for Public Administration, Northeast Regional Chapter.

Under his leadership, the Office of Business and Job Opportunity has worked diligently with large construction firms, local groups and trade associations to ensure that minority and women-owned businesses receive a fair share of opportunities when public contracts are awarded.

He holds a bachelor's degree in history from LeMoyne College and a master's degree in public administration from the State University of New York in Albany.
