ROBERT E. BOYLE APPROVED AS PORT AUTHORITY EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
The Port Authority Board of Commissioners today approved Robert E. Boyle, the choice of Governors Pataki and Whitman, to serve as Executive Director of the Port Authority.
Mr. Boyle's appointment takes effect on March 1.
Mr. Boyle is President and Chief Executive Officer of the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. Prior to assuming that post, he served as an executive and major stockholder in corporations in the construction industry.
