Additional trains will bolster service between AM and PM peak times on Friday
PATH trains will operate on a regular weekday schedule tomorrow, with extra trains added between the morning and afternoon peak hours to increase service frequency on the Newark to World Trade Center and Hoboken to World Trade Center lines for passengers heading to and from Lower Manhattan for the Yankees' ticker-tape parade. Passenger information agents - wearing safety vests to increase their visibility -- will be stationed throughout the day at Newark, Harrison, Journal Square, Hoboken and the World Trade Center stations to help assist customers.
WHAT: Extra PATH train service Friday for Yankee fans attending the team's World Series victory parade in Lower Manhattan.
WHERE: Newark to World Trade Center and Hoboken to World Trade Center lines.
WHEN: Between AM and PM peak travel times.
WHY: To accommodate extra passengers expected to head to and from Lower Manhattan for the Yankees' parade.
