PORT AUTHORITY BOARD TAKES ACTION ON SEVERAL ITEMS

At its monthly meeting this afternoon, the Port Authority Board of Commissioners took the following actions:
Authorized a lease with Port Elizabeth Terminal & Warehouse Corporation for its continued occupancy at Port Newark, consisting of buildings 173 Annex, 201 and 202, associated open area and approximately four acres of open area.
Authorized funding for the second year of a five-year agreement for continued Port Authority and PATH membership in TRANSCOM Inc., in support of its activities to promote regional mobility and safety.
Authorized assignment of a Memorial Foundation trade contract with Kelco Landscaping, Inc., for the installation of landscaping for the National September 11 Memorial and Museum at the World Trade Center.
Authorized assignment of a Memorial Foundation trade contract with Navillus Contracting, Inc., for the installation of maintenance and utility corridors for the National September 11 Memorial & Museum and World Trade Center infrastructure projects.
Authorized 1 WTC LLC, through its construction manager, Tishman Construction Corporation, a construction trade contract with Kenneth J. Herman, Inc., for the installation of beam and column cladding on the mechanical floors of One World Trade Center.
Authorized 1 WTC LLC, through its construction manager, Tishman Construction Corporation, a construction trade contract with Crimson Construction Corporation for protection of plaza slabs during construction and installation of plaza finishes at One World Trade Center.
Authorized agreements for the placement and construction of the Liberty Street Liner Wall, located south of the existing PATH substation, which is necessary for the installation of steel framing above the substation.
