NEWARK—U.S. Sen. Frank R. Lautenberg, Chairman of the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Homeland Security, will join officials from the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, the International Longshoremen’s Association (ILA), law enforcement and business leaders at Port Newark on Tuesday, July 20th at 10:00 a.m. to discuss how the new homeland security funding bill will prioritize port security and other security priorities in New Jersey and the region.
