In anticipation of the upcoming Columbus Day holiday weekend, the Port Authority Police will conduct a driving while intoxicated checkpoint at the Holland Tunnel.
The checkpoint will operate between 10 p.m. tonight, October 8, and 6 a.m. Saturday, October 9, at the entrances to the Holland Tunnel.
Drivers will be subject to random inspection, and police also will distribute literature on the dangers of drinking and driving.
