Key pedestrian link will improve access for tens of thousands of daily travelers
The Port Authority, Westfield Group and Brookfield Office Properties will announce the opening of the World Trade Center West Concourse at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 24. The opening of the concourse to the public is a major milestone in the redevelopment of the World Trade Center site. It marks the first time the pedestrian link between the World Trade Center site, Brookfield Place (formerly the World Financial Center) and the New York Waterway Ferry Terminal will be restored to the public since September 11, 2001.
