TRAVEL ADVISORY - AIRTRAIN JFK SERVICE WILL HAVE PARTIAL SHUTDOWN THIS WEEKEND FOR SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE

Free shuttle bus service will be provided to minimize impact on travelers

Beginning at 10 p.m. tonight, December 2, until 3 p.m. Sunday, December 4, AirTrain JFK will have a partial shutdown for scheduled maintenance. Free shuttle bus service will be provided in both directions from Federal Circle to all airport terminals, as well as from Federal Circle to Howard Beach and Lefferts Boulevard stations. AirTrain JFK will continue to operate normally to and from Federal Circle and Jamaica Station.

Passengers and airport employees are advised to allow extra time when traveling to and from John F. Kennedy Airport during the service suspension. Additional airport customer care representatives, AirTrain and other Port Authority staff will be on duty to provide information for passengers during the shutdown.
