PORT AUTHORITY POLICE TO CONDUCT RANDOM DWI INSPECTIONS THIS WEEKEND AT PA FACILITIES

As part of the Port Authority’s commitment to ensuring the safety of the traveling public, the Port Authority Police Department will conduct DWI checkpoints at PA facilities from 10 p.m. Friday, April 14, through 6 a.m. Saturday, April 15.

Drivers will be subject to random inspection. The purpose of the DWI checkpoint is to deter and apprehend anyone who operates a motor vehicle while impaired by alcohol or drugs. Police also will distribute literature on the dangers of driving while intoxicated.
