MEDIA ADVISORY - PORT AUTHORITY POLICE DETECTIVE PULLED FROM WORLD TRADE CENTER WRECKAGE ATTENDS FINAL ROLL CALL

Port Authority Police Detective Will Jimeno – one of the last people pulled from the wreckage of the World Trade Center – will attend his final roll call on Thursday, December 2, at 1:45 p.m.

Detective Jimeno was one of a group of five Port Authority Police officers from the Port Authority Bus Terminal who rushed to One World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. When the towers collapsed, he was buried in rubble for 13 hours, 20 feet below street level. Detective Jimeno, of Clifton, N.J., will have his final roll call at the Port Authority Bus Terminal, where he was working on 9/11.

The event will take place on the main floor of the North Wing of the Port Authority Bus Terminal. Media wishing to cover this event should enter on Eighth Avenue between 41st and 42nd streets.
