A Jersey City eighth-grader has won top honors in PATH’s annual holiday poster contest. The winner – Yameen Arshad, of P.S. 27 – will be honored during a ceremony at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, December 5, at the Journal Square PATH Station in Jersey City. The winning poster will be displayed aboard the rapid-transit system’s trains during the holiday season.

Miss Arshad, along with second-place winner Jacqueline Kalinich, a seventh-grader from P.S. 27, and third-place winner Zahra Mahmoud, a seventh-grader from Academy One, will be honored by PATH Director/General Manager Michael DePallo and Jersey City public schools representatives.

The winners will receive tickets to the “Radio City Christmas Spectacular.” The Port Authority will provide complimentary round-trip PATH QuickCards to and from the show.
