Date: Apr 10, 2008
Press Release Number: 34-2008
The Church Street entrance to the World Trade Center PATH Station will close at 11:59 p.m. on Friday, April 11. All PATH customers will need to access the station at the new entrance at Vesey Street and West Broadway, which opened on March 31.
The Church Street entrance was closed to allow excavation and construction work at the World Trade Center site, including the Transportation Hub, to proceed.
Once the Church Street entrance is closed, there will be no pedestrian walkways on the west side of the street between Vesey and Liberty streets. PATH customers traveling to the south will need to walk down the east side of Church Street or go one block east and use Broadway.
PATH customers looking to transfer to the A, C or E subway lines can access those lines at an entrance at the corner of Vesey and Church streets.
