Roadway striping on the upper-level toll plaza will take place from 11 p.m. on Thursday, June 12, until 5 a.m. on Friday, June 13. If necessary, the maintenance project will resume during the same hours on Friday into Saturday morning. The project will require up to 50 percent of the toll plaza to be closed.
The lower level, typically E-ZPass only, will have cash lanes open.
The work is expected to cause eastbound delays and local Fort Lee congestion.

The paving project is part of the Port Authority’s $1.3 billion, 10-year capital investment in the bridge to keep it safe and in a state of good repair. The bridge deck was last paved in 1997.
