MEDIA ADVISORY - NEWARK LIBERTY INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT SECURITY TRAINING EXERCISE SET FOR SATURDAY MORNING

The Port Authority, local, state and federal agencies will participate in a training exercise at Newark Liberty International Airport on Saturday morning.

Travelers will see emergency vehicles around Terminal B and may see smoke as part of a simulated incident. A small portion of the terminal will be closed as part of the operation.

The exercise will last from 8:30 am to 11 am, with set up before and clean up afterward. It should not affect flight operations or travelers.

There is no media coverage.
