KUNG-FU KICKS AND DRAGON DANCES AT NEWARK AIRPORT HERALD THE ARRIVAL OF THE YEAR OF THE HORSE

How can you have an international experience at an airport without buying a plane ticket? You can witness Newark International Airport\'s third annual Chinese New Year Dragon Dance in Terminal B on Friday, February 22, 2002, at noon and 1:30 p.m.
Travelers will behold an ancient Asian extravaganza as the members of the Tak Wah Eng Kung Fu Club don their colorful costumes and leap, twist, kick, drum and turn through one of the region\'s busiest airports during two very exciting performances. The dance will welcome the Chinese New Year 4700 - the Year of the Horse.
\"This event is an opportunity to both educate and entertain our customers,\" said Gary Davis, the airport\'s Manger of Program Development. \"Watching this cultural celebration may whet the traveler\'s appetite for visiting places they might not have previously considered.\"
Those born in the Year of the Horse are said to be intelligent, skillful, prosperous people who make stable and loving companions. Horse celebrities include Robert Wagner, Clint Eastwood, Barbara Streisand and Aretha Franklin.
