Due to expansion work on the Delta Terminal at JFK, Air Train’s JFK Howard Beach service, including the Lefferts Boulevard Station and all service into the Central Terminal Area, will be suspended overnight from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. from July 18 through August 19.
During these times, AirTrain JFK will operate service from Jamaica Station to Federal Circle. A shuttle bus will be provided at Howard Beach, Lefferts Boulevard, Federal Circle, and at all Airline Terminals for travelers. Passengers wishing to travel to the terminals, rental car pick-up and long-term parking lots will need to take the free shuttle bus service.
The construction is weather dependant and may be cancelled in the event of inclement weather.

The agency also owns the 16-acre World Trade Center site in Lower Manhattan.
