The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey – which led the rebuilding of the World Trade Center site – will make available to the media its key rebuilding executives as the 10th anniversary approaches, including interviews on September 11.

The rebuilding efforts have been overseen by the Port Authority’s leadership – Chairman David Samson, Executive Director Chris Ward and Deputy Executive Director Bill Baroni. The on-site building work is under the direction of Steve Plate, the Director of WTC Construction, Deputy Director Alan Reiss, and project managers for each of the different projects that are being built.

These individuals can be made available for interviews on the days leading up to the 10th anniversary, as well as on the anniversary itself, by calling (212) 435- 6920.

As the 10th anniversary approaches, the 9/11 Memorial Plaza is complete with the two running waterfalls, the victims names engraved in bronze parapets, and 225 trees plated throughout an 8-acre plaza. One WTC has reached the 80th floor and is climbing every week. And significant progress also has been made to build the World Trade Center Transportation Hub and the Vehicle Security Center.
