LaGuardia General Manager to unveil “Marie” at 10:00 a.m., August 8, at LGA

Port Authority officials will unveil the agency’s newest virtual Customer Care Representatives (CCRs) this week at LaGuardia and JFK airports. Media outlets are invited to view the virtual representative, also known as an avatar, at LaGuardia Airport on Wednesday at 10 a.m. (There is no media event for the avatar at JFK airport.) The computerized, hologram-like CCRs will provide automated airport information to millions of travelers who pass through LaGuardia and JFK each year. The avatars will be located in the Arrivals area in the Central Terminal Building at LaGuardia and at the Welcome Center in JetBlue’s Terminal 5 at JFK.
