MEDIA ADVISORY UPDATE - AIRTRAIN NEWARK SERVICE TO OPERATE THIS WEEKEND

Due to inclement weather this weekend, the planned AirTrain Newark outage scheduled for May 16 has been canceled. AirTrain will operate with full service.

Scheduled maintenance on AirTrain Newark has been canceled due to inclement weather this weekend. Upgrades to AirTrain JFK will continue as scheduled.

Between the hours of 4 a.m. to 6 a.m., AirTrain JFK will operate every 16 minutes from the Jamaica and Howard Beach stations, with service between terminals in the Central Terminal Area operating every 9 minutes to allow for system upgrades. This pattern will continue until 6:00 a.m. on Friday, May 22.

Travelers are urged to leave extra time to get to and from the either airport during these hours and to see a Customer Care Representative for assistance if needed.
