Press Release Number: 89-2015

The Port Authority tonight issued the following statement refuting a Channel 7/ABC News story about alleged security breaches in May at JFK Airport:

"Tonight's Channel 7 story about two alleged security breaches in May at JFK Airport is a wholly inaccurate representation of these events. At no time during either incident described by Channel 7 did anyone breach the airport's security fence or even attempt to do so. Yet Channel 7 chose to air this report even after the Port Authority told the station this information was factually incorrect. Any fair and impartial investigation into these matters will prove that the incidents as described by Channel 7 simply didn't occur."
