Press Release Number: 163-2016

The final two platforms in the World Trade Center PATH station will open at 5:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 8, completing the mezzanine level of the World Trade Center Transportation Hub and improving circulation to and from the platforms for PATH customers.

There will be no changes to the current service provided to the station, and the additional tracks will improve the efficiency of train movements in and out of the station and lessen crowding on PATH platforms.

Agents from PATH will be present on the mezzanine level to direct passengers to the correct platforms.

In addition, restrooms will open on Thursday on the south side of the mezzanine for use by customers. The PATH restrooms will be open during the hours of 6 a.m. and midnight.
