Beginning Saturday, Sept. 24 at 10 p.m. and running until Sunday, Sept. 25 at 7 a.m., AirTrain Newark service will be suspended for scheduled maintenance.

The Port Authority will provide free shuttle bus service to Newark Airport during this period. Shuttle buses will run between Newark Airport Station (Rail Link), Terminals A, B and C, and Stations P2, P3 and P4, the parking lot/rental car stations. The shutdown will have no impact on Amtrak and NJ Transit service.

Passengers and airport employees are advised to set aside extra time when traveling to and from Newark Liberty during the designated hours. Additional airport customer care representatives, AirTrain and other Port Authority staff will be on duty to better provide information for passengers during the train suspension.
