Port Authority Executive Director Joseph J. Seymour will ring the closing bell at the New York Stock Exchange on Tuesday, April 15, at 4 p.m. Heroes of the first war with Iraq who now work for the bistate agency will accompany him. Dick Grasso, Chairman and CEO of the New York Stock Exchange, will preside.
Mr. Seymour will be joined by:
• Tom Bosco – An Army Lieutenant Colonel and helicopter pilot, he is now Manager of LaGuardia Airport Operations. He lives in Staten Island, N.Y.
• John Paczkowski - Director of the agency’s Operations and Emergency Management office. He presently holds the rank of Colonel in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve. During the war, he was a Major stationed at the Marines’ European headquarters involved in battle planning, logistics and military engineering. He lives in Morris County, N.J.
• Jerome Roberson – A former Marine Lance Corporal, who served in the desert division communications unit. He is an airport operations supervisor at John F. Kennedy International Airport and a resident of Cambria Heights, N.Y.
• Nicholas Rivera - Presently working in maintenance at Newark Airport, he served as an army sergeant during the first gulf war. He lives in Union City, N.J.
