Winning Poster to be Unveiled During Ceremony on December 1

A Jersey City seventh-grader has won top honors in PATH’s annual holiday poster contest. The winner – Samantha Cruz of P.S. 27 – will be honored during a ceremony at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 1, at the Journal Square PATH Station in Jersey City. The winning poster will be displayed aboard the rapid-transit system’s trains during the holiday season.

Miss Cruz, along with second-place winner Laudelina Hernandez, a fifth-grader from P.S. 27, and third-place winner Sakura Hegarty, a third-grader from P.S. 16, were honored by PATH Director/General Manager Michael DePallo and Jersey City public schools representatives.

The winners receive tickets to the “Radio City Christmas Spectacular.” The Port Authority will provide complimentary round-trip PATH QuickCards to and from the show.
