REVISED MEDIA ADVISORY - CONSTRUCTION BEGINS ON SPECTACULAR NEW $875 MILLION PASSENGER TERMINAL AT JOHN F. KENNEDY INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

New York Governor George E. Pataki and New York City Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg will join officials from The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey and JetBlue Airways to celebrate the start of construction of a new $875 million, 26-gate passenger terminal at John F. Kennedy International Airport.
The event will take place at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, December 7, 2005, in the historic TWA Flight Center, also known as Terminal 5.
Media wishing to cover the event should bring credentials and park in the Blue Lot or the Blue Lot’s garage in front of JFK’s Terminal 4 and take a designated shuttle bus to Terminal 5. The shuttle buses for Terminal 5 will depart from the area in front of the glass elevators at the lot’s garage. Media also can walk to Terminal 5 from the parking lot, or take AirTrain JFK to Terminals 4 or 6 and walk to Terminal 5. There is no media parking at Terminal 5.
