Date: Jun 11, 2008
Press Release Number: 56-2008

PATH service between 33rd Street and the Journal Square and Hoboken stations has been restored in both directions following a service disruption due to power cable damage caused by a track fire between the Christopher and 9th Street stations.

PATH users can receive updates on operations on their PDA, cell phone, pager, or PC by signing up for PATHAlerts at www.paalerts.com/alertsignup.aspx. Frequent updates will be provided on the Port Authority's Web site - www.panynj.gov - and on PATHAlerts.
