TRAFFIC ADVISORY - SECTION OF LIBERTY STREET SIDEWALK TO BE CLOSED THIS WEEKEND TO ACCOMMODATE PLANNED PEDESTRIAN UPGRADES AROUND WTC SITE

The Liberty Street sidewalk between West Street and Greenwich Street will be closed from 7 a.m. Saturday, February 14, through 7 p.m. Monday, February 16, for work to improve pedestrian access around the World Trade Center site.

Lighting and other improvements are being made to improve the pedestrian passageway on Liberty Street. In addition, the intersection of Liberty and Greenwich streets is being milled and paved.

As an alternate, pedestrians can travel to the Vesey Street or the Rector Street overpasses to travel between West Street and Church Street.
