MEDIA ADVISORY - PORT AUTHORITY BOARD TO HOLD BOARD MEETING ON THURSDAY, APRIL 16

The Port Authority Board of Commissioners will meet on Thursday, April 16, on the 15th floor of Port Authority headquarters at 225 Park Avenue South in Manhattan, to discuss World Trade Center matters. The public session of the Board will begin at 11:30 a.m.

The World Trade Center Redevelopment Subcommittee will meet in public session at 11 a.m. prior to the public session of the Board at the same location.

In addition, a meeting of the World Trade Center Redevelopment Subcommittee will be held in executive session on April 16.

The public sessions of the Board and its Committee will be broadcast on the Port Authority's Web site - www.panynj.gov.

The agenda for the meetings to be held on April 16 will be posted on the Port Authority's Web site, www.panynj.gov, at 3 p.m. on April 15.

Members of the public wishing to address the Board should register by sending an e-mail message including their name, affiliation (if any) and topic to speakers@panynj.gov by 9 a.m. on Thursday, April 16. Those who wish to address the Board on World Trade Center actions to be considered at the April 16 meeting will be given the opportunity to do so upon completion of the presentation and prior to the Board's vote on the items. All other requests to address the Board will be accommodated at the April 30 meeting. Speakers are limited to 3 minutes, and speaking time may not be transferred. The public comment period may be limited to 30 minutes. Appropriate identification is required.
