The Port Authority Bus Terminal is the central hub for bus travel to and from New York City. Located from 40th to 42nd Streets, between Eighth and Ninth Avenues, the terminal is both the largest bus station in the nation and the busiest in the world. In 2014, 66 million bus passenger trips passed through the terminal.
The George Washington Bridge Bus Station connects upper Manhattan to New Jersey and New York west of the Hudson. The station is located between 178th and 179th Streets and Fort Washington and Wadsworth Avenues. Close to five million bus passenger trips passed through the station in 2014.
The Journal Square Transportation Center is one of New Jersey's busiest transportation centers. Located along Kennedy Boulevard in Jersey City, NJ, the center offers both bus and PATH rail services. Close to 12 million bus passenger trips passed through the center in 2014.
