JFK International

Please note that any item lost on board an aircraft, in the airline terminal or curbside with an airline tag is turned in to the appropriate airline. Please contact your airline's baggage service office for further information.

For any other lost item, contact the Port Authority Police Lost and Found Custodian at (718) 244-4225 or jfklostandfound@panynj.gov. Lost and Found items (up to 30 days) are located at the JFK Police Desk, Building 269, and can be released 24 hours a day.

For items lost at the TSA Security Check Point, contact the TSA Lost and Found at (718) 917-3999.

Newark Liberty

Please note that any item lost on board an aircraft, in the airline terminal or curbside with an airline tag are turned in to the appropriate airline. Please contact your airline’s baggage service office for further information.

For items lost at a TSA Security Check Point, please contact Transportation Safety Administration (TSA) Lost & Found: (718) 662-5043. The TSA Lost & Found Office at LaGuardia is open between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Stewart Airport

Lost and Found: For lost items on your plane, or baggage claim area, call your airline. For items lost at other areas of the airport, you may call (845) 838-8200

Teterboro Airport

Please note that any item lost on board an aircraft is turned in to the appropriate Fixed Based Operator for storage. Please contact your Fixed Based Operator for further information.

Port Newark/Port Elizabeth/New Jersey Marine Terminal

Lincoln Tunnel

Items may be picked up Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. -12 p.m. at the Lincoln Tunnel Police Command at 500 Boulevard East, Weehawken, NJ.

Holland Tunnel

Items may be picked up from the Holland Tunnel Police Command at 13th and Provost streets, Jersey City, NJ.

George Washington Bridge and GWB Bus Station

For inquiries regarding lost property, please contact (201) 346-4100.

Items may be picked up from the GWB Police Command at 220 Bruce Reynolds Boulevard, Fort Lee, NJ.

Port Authority Bus Terminal

For inquiries regarding lost property, please call (212) 502-2245 and ask for Lost and Found.

Items may be picked up from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. from the Port Authority Bus Terminal Police Command at 625 8th Avenue (2nd floor – 9th Avenue side) New York, NY.

PATH/ Journal Square Transportation Center

For inquiries regarding lost property, please contact (201) 216-2677, or (212) 435-2611 at any time, or visit the PATH Police Command in the Journal Square PATH station between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. - Monday through Saturday. The street location is One PATH PLAZA, Concourse Level, Jersey City, NJ.

Please note that lost and found items are kept at the PATH Police Command for a period of 90 days.  After a six-month time period passes, items are subject to auction.  

Also note that any lost item of real value (i.e.,: money, jewelry, wallets or electronics excluding cell phones), will be kept under lock and key and their release times can vary.  

Additionally, any lost item that is perishable, noxious or badly soiled is not held.

Goethals Bridge/Bayonne Bridge/Outerbridge Crossing

Property may be picked up on Monday–Friday, from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. from the Staten Island Bridges Police Command at 2777 Goethals Road North, Staten Island, NY.

World Trade Center

Property may be picked up Monday –Friday, from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. from the WTC Police Command at the Corner of Vesey St. and West Broadway, New York, NY.
